Today i endeavoured through bugis village in search of chinese new year clothes. I was estatic when i found this red kimono top which i can use to visit relatives. The main important thing there is that it is
red, something my dad would be quite happy with. Any colour is out of the question, even the slightest adjustment such as pink. Ah. Traditional men.
Im finally uploading the photos of the cross country as i do so for the IG bbq and fencing reception. Why are there so many pictures of winson? T4 has an obession with him.
Sadly, we didnt take that many photos for the fencing reception because my camera was dying. I found the reception rather funny. When we arrived at the fencing room, we were told to assemble in the judo area and sit cross-legged on the mat. Everyone was silent and looking intently at brother paul when Sam mentioned to me "I feel like we are in a muslim prayer room". That did it. I laughed so hard that i felt that i was suffocating. Especially when i had to control like shit because brother paul was talking. The friar started blessing the room with holy water and one whole wad got splatted onto my face. I am blessed. We kept eyeing this small sji boy which we identified as 'blackwatch'. I felt so paedophilic especially hes probably just secondary 1 or 2 but hes so small, haha i wish he was my little brother. Instead of my non-exsistant one right now.
The fencing reception was not bad, considering that the school probably had a limited budget to pay for the reception. The food was catered from siam kitchen and the fish cakes were good. We Kept on laughing at Don (the shooter one) for his rather proper announcement last week. Tsk st pats people. Come to think of it, my dad was from St pats hahahahha. Tsk. Traditional st pats men.
Then i got a call from mag who asked what time i was coming for the bbq. Since there was nothing to do besides eat and drink (no training!), i packed up my bags and left to help out.. Only to realise that brother paul was standing there looking at me escaping. He was fine with me leaving halfway though, when i explained to him it was an IG bbq and we were going to celebrate O level results. Rode the bus with kumar/faizal before arriving at the bbq destination.
I helped (somesort) Gabriel, Mag and Auntie Rodrigues prepare the food for the bbq. Im going to develop a phobia of aluminium foil and sweet potatoes. Everything was prepared pretty quickly and we went down to start the fire. In all my bbq experiences, ive never seen so many fire starters in one spot but cant help it la. The wind was too strong. We waited for the IG19 people to come until 8 plus (which was long considering i arrived at 5.30). In the meantime, Antonia (gabriels cute sister) and her friends started munching on the food that Mark (the brother, who refuses to do the mass dance)was cooking. Nothing to be cross at about though, the more the merrier. Plus, it was interesting to hear what they were talking about HAHA.
Finally at 8 something, the rest of the IG people came in high spirits (for most) because of the good results. Buds one was quite funny. C6 for english, distinction for everything else (he had 15pts). Jamie had 7 points, power. Im glad the night went well, all of us went crazy with the camera. Its a pity that GARREETTTH didnt join us OEEI. Tsk. Missing out! Anyway, I went swimming with antonia and mag for a short while and im going to practise on my handstand tomorrow. Some had to leave early so it was left to a small group of us who did the mass dance- which jasmine quite an expert on, HAHAHA.I cant really remember how to do the bangra but i still dont understand why (insert weiloongs/jeremy yeaps nasal whyy)the j1s dont like the bangra.
Oh yes, Sean has a mouth capacity to hold in 8 marshmallows. Chubby bunny was the game.
Wow, my entry is long. Overall i enjoyed the bbq very much. Thank you Gabriel/Gabby for hosting the bbq.True as your message rang out, you finally did something for IG 19 haha. You hero! :)
