Today was a rather fun day. Met up with may and her friend at bueno vista to go down to the acjc funfair. I remember thinking whether 20 dollars worth of tickets would be enough since from previous experiences, school funfairs were cheap. Apparently, this one was not, but ill elaborate later on.

As i was saying, the 3 of soon departed to look for food once we arrived at the acjc funfair. I ran into quite a few people, this girl named jasmine from cj at the entrance. I forgot mays friends' name, i know its not ben though. He looks like a ben.I think his name is alan, but in anycase, hes pretty nice. The place was bloody crowded so we kept on walking around to find a seat. Eventually, we shared a table with this couple, and minded our own business. May and 'alan" ate spagetthi while i ate pizza. My pizza had so little pineapple on it that i was almost sad, but i cheered up after eating corn bread from kenny rogers.

I saw so many people at the funfair. They are :Matt, lijie, cy, jasmine, lyn,sarah,stephanie,janelle,aaron,edward, jesse and a lot more whom i forgot. I saw a girl from my IG as well, i gave her 2 dollars worth of tickets because i didnt know what to do with it. Jing da told me that he and darcy were there too but i didnt see them. Too bad. For them haa.

Coming to the expensive part, the dunking booth raised 2000 dollars just to dunk some teacher or principal. Its crazy. 2000 is just too much plus 100 dollars with each additional 3 throws of a ball. Then again, it would be quite a sight to see brother paul being dunked..

That one will raise 5000 alone.

After walking around with may and alan, i decided to meet up with lijie and matt because may was going to church and alan probably had somewhere to go to. I was unwated. Lijies friend milton came to join us to watch a movie in cine. After playing scissors paper stone with matt, we decided to watch real since matt won. Lijie however, insisted a rematch and won, so we watched" walk the line" which was not bad but really long. I think some people crashed the theatre.

After the movie, we decided to go off since we had to get home by 7, or at least i did. I thought mom wanted to cook dinner so i decided to come home early. I took the bus home with milton because he stays right behind me. The ride was enjoyable because he was really entertaining. Anyway, i got home, hoping to smell the aromas of rendang or at least some curry thing when i smelt nothing but .. nothing.

The korean bean paste thing which you mix with rice came in handy because my mom wanted to cook PORRIDGE.

Today was the last day of the funeral, we buried popo at some cemetary at choa chu kang. Its surprising that we could bury her for a really cheap price, considering that land is quite scarce here in singapore.

Actually, today was quite an eventful day. For starters, as i had mentioned like 2 seconds ago, popos burial. We also found out from uncle eng ghee that uncle roberts mother had died, so guess what? Im going to another funeral tomorrow. Life is getting dreary. My uncle (dads oldest brother) had just underwent surgery to remove a cancer growth. Apparently, his artery connecting to the heart was blocked hence depriving his heart of oxygen. And yet, strangely enough, he didnt get a heart attack. Instead, his heart created its own bypass so as to recieve oxygen. I didnt even know that was possible, the doctor said it was very rare for a heart to do something like that. Even funnier, the family expected him to remain unconcious for at least 72 hours in the ICU after the operation. He woke up the next day because he was hungry. Hes a real glutton.

The most exciting part of the day was when i was in takashimaya. Mom and i were eating that the korean restaurant when the fire alarm rang, the imperial palace place had some gas leakage and i think a small fire because smoke was coming out. Just right before the bell rang, a woman ran out screaming so i was stunned- more like "What the heck?" Anyway, my mom and i were hoping for some action, like the restaurant being set on fire and all of us are forced to evacuate the building. Unfortunetly, while we were gaily walking, trying to "evacuate" the building while window shopping, the announcement sounded out "Dear ladies and gentlement, the fire alarm that had just sounded was a false alarm. Sorry for the inconvenience"

I am so behind time in SE asian history. I havent even gone for a single tutorial about it.

Im going to be sleeping in my dads room because hes scared. And being the cunning twit he is, he scared me into sleeping in his room. I just hope popo doesnt feel like visiting mom today.

Just finished eating masala tosai. Today something really big cropped up. So big that it reduced me to tears. My grandmother died today. My mom said she died peacefully but somehow i cant help but feel so sorry for her because she couldnt eat all the stuff she wanted before she died-due to diabetes.

Honestly, i dont feel anything yet. The only time where i felt any inch of sadness was when i called Dad to comfirm her death, after recieving 3 messages about it. It was when he comfirmed it when i started to cry. Thanks kat, kailin and andrea for comforting. I guess i was a little impersonal though because while they were trying to comfort me, i was making silly comments. Like when kat said "im sure she will be up there blessing you", i said "i hope it comes in the form of 4D numbers" and many other small talks like this. But yeah, i dont really like gloomy atmospheres, plus since my grandma died peacefully, theres nothing really to be sad about.

I guess i wont feel anything until her body is cremated, thats when most people actually start to cry. I remember i only cried twice when yeow yeow died, one when i found out and the other time when his body is cremated. The rest of the timespan when his body was still at the house i was playing pepsi cola with benji and jeremy. Its funny how popo isnt here anymore although i dont really see her very often. Im just glad i got to see her one last time last night.

ANYWAY, im still coming to school tomorrow due to dads insistence (curse him!) and whats sadder is that theres chinese tomorrow. We're going to be starting on asian history (for history class) soon but my mind is still stuck in the cold war. I still dont really know all the details i SHOULD know.
