Today was the official closing of the Pre-U seminar 2006. Out of all the events, i would say it was the closing of it that was the best. Not because oh thank god finally the hellish nature of endless panel talks has come to an end but rather, the good times we had towards the closing end. Especially when we were doing our kung-fu action 'movie' comprising of garreth and jameson when the education minister was not too far from us.

On the whole, im really glad i went to pre-u seminar. It was great mixing with like-minded people and inquiring about the several policies the government has implemented. The minister and the key speakers were quite open to new comments, criticism and suggestions by everyone ( i just thought of the very vocal RJC student) . They even took the time to note down and consider the suggestions by various students as said by the media. For me, i did ask quite a few questions to the director of schools but i cant really remember what they were hah.

Although i really regret missing the bonding (ahem.faizal.) between the fencers during fencing camp, im glad i met the pre-U sem people. Its the sense of belonging all of us have when we were segregated into our groups. Everyone would wait for each other. During the filming, everyone would try to keep down their temper despite the fustrations to the minimum. I enjoy and appreciate that.

I have no idea why am i more serious that usual. Maybe its the lozenges im taking now to soothe my sore throat. Its white and powdery and reminds me of my childhood phobia of my mom smashing up white pills (because i couldnt swallow them due to.. lack of experience) and mixing it with honey. Uptil now that bitter-sweet mixture has been pressing in my mind everytime i take medicine, which honestly, makes me feel more sick.

ANYWAY enough about me me me. I shall dedicate the next paragraph to the pre- U sem people.
