mood: somber. Nah, just sleepy.

I sit here, looking at my social studies book without any word registering into my head. I see the words " encouraging creativity" and its all downhill from there. Its already saturday and social studies prelim is on monday. I usually study the day before but now as my mind gets older, i need more and more days in order to remember the details. I am old.

We're going to the hospital later because my dads sister in law just recovered from a heart attack. Hospitals have been my second home this week. My grandmother is recovering, so much for the "last 2 days" as alarmed by the doctor. Okay, she isnt really recovering because shes still pretty weak but shes still surviving. When i saw her, her face was so swollen and so were her arms, due to her weak kidneys. I thought she looked pretty adorable but thats not the word to use when someones lying in hospital with jammed kidneys and hanging on a moments thread.

Ive already started looking for the graduation dress. I found this super nice one which was $1200. Nice dress, stupid price. For a graduation luncheon? I think not. Im thinking of checking out holland village because theres this new vintage shop that opened called swirl. I love vintage dresses, i have this 20 year old one from my mom which i adore. Its green with white polkadots. I cant really describe it in detail but its something like a halter neck dress except more 60s. Ah, something like what daphne has on her friendster disp pic. I havent gotten the chance to wear it yet though.

I watched pocohantas and this korean movie called "the cool guy". I want to watch pocohantas part 2, i watched it a few years back and i remember vaguely that she married this red haired guy and met john smith back in england. Will watch it soon.

I am so exhausted right now, my minds all crammed up after spending a few hours in mr chans place doing math. My math grade improved considerably but still needs a lot of improvement. Yes yes, and i still have to catch up on biology and social studies. Anyway, he wont be having tuition tomorrow, which is pretty sad because i was looking forward to it. I guess i shouldnt depend on him so much anyway. Then again, i only depend on him for math because my math can really suck. Before i start sounding like a geek (which i probably am ever since ever), i shall change the topic.

Topic 1) What i did last night
Last night was relaxing, i spent 4 hours straight on the computer which i havent done for a long time. I took tons of quizes (or quizzes?) and posted on up over here. There was one i found particularly funny which was the one on my friendster profile. I didnt expect the quiz to predict it so accurately especially if they were asking questions like "Would you pick up the silver key (Answer yes or no). Yes and i am a born leader and have no money managing skills. Im an extremist. Either i spend too much or scrimp too much, which is pretty true. I think my spending habit is something like "Work hard, play hard" except its "Save hard, spend hard" but of course i make no philosophical sense or the words just dont go.

Topic 2) Ana
I am talking in code language with my mom right now-chinese. Shes thinking that ana (my maid) is stealing sanitary napkins from us. Honestly, i cant think of anything to say to that. Shes also suspecting ana of using too much softlan on our clothes. Poor thing, she could be put in jail for that under mothers law. One particular thing im pretty jumpy about is that my mom told me that Ana used all my stuff, like my scrub (both face and body) and the new masque that i bought (if you see one of the photos with the big sunglasses). I understand the temptation of using all these products-it just looks so nice to touch! I have many times experienced the temptation everytime i go to Auntie graces' or Veronicas bathroom. Of course i dont touch them unless i ask permission. Anyway, coming back to the topic, Ana uses my LIPGLOSS. I think theres a limit. Its pretty unhygeinic, i dont even share with my mom hers. Of course i share with my friends though heheh.

Topic 3) Stomp!
I cant wait to watch it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 30th sept at the esplanade !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Topic 4) Disney

Went to rida just now to get some movies to watch to reward myself after a hard days work. In the end, brought home one movie which was sleeping beauty. Ill never rent snow white, its bloody scary. Both the witch and her. I feel like going to disneyland again but the wholesome family image of it is destroyed with the board of directors kicking each other out, including walt disneys nephew- rob disney. I think its rob disney anyway. Oh wait. ROB Disney? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Topic 5) Durian
The 12 dollar durians are the best! Had so much of it last night. Which is why im having a sorethroat right now.

Yes, i have heard that Brice has now a new nickname. Not Ah B-zai, Blice or lice even, but SHAGGY HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Speak of the devil, here he comes online now.

Today, i had math tuition from 10 to 6.30, god, my brain juice is flowing out. My math paper 1s were funny, it dropped from a 66 (yesterday i did one) to a 56, to a 49 and to a 36, consecutively. That shows that i have a very weak concerntration span. Anyway, its a cause to panic becaue math paper one is next week! And on monday or tuesday or something..

I was arguing with my dad on whether it was good to be the dominant power of the world. Guess who won? Me of course *snort*. Mainly because we had arrived at the restaurant and my dad was poring through the menu. We had portugese food today, super good and pretty easy to make too. Just mash potatoes, put a bit of grated cheese and bake it in. Yum. Im craving for it now.

I uploaded new pictures on my friendster and put in some new ones.

Watched goodbye lenin last night. Gosh, you dont need to watch porn anymore. Not that i do of course. Unless you count in american pie.. *stares directly at kelly, remembering the times of watching american pie over and over again* and that video i saw when i was 6 with kel, tiff and my maid. Who was trying to off the television.

Anyway, durian time now. 24D WAHAHA. Oh, i dont know about you guys, but i prefer the cheap ones. The expensive ones (those 30 bucks one) are too creamy eeyuck

My hairs super wavy now because i tied my damp hair to a bun just now. It looks like a john frieda advertisment-only less perfect.
Yesterdays entry was written out of anger even though it was really short-and sweet. I take back my words now because i have found myself to be a very selfish person. I keep forgetting the situation my mother has been in and its not the time to do anything stupid which will just irritate her. Honestly, on her part, it was her fault for making such a big fuss when i tried to explain calmly to her. Well, whats done is done.

Situation hasnt been good today, my grandma is now in hospital and shes not doing very well. Her heart beat is at 20 when the average is a hundred. The doctor told the family that she has only around 2 days left. This september holidays is going to be rather difficult if she actually does..you know. Sorry if i dont reply messages, either im too lazy or busy =D

Brice and Aaron are in the hospital now, still stoning.

Dad and i went to novena square instead of eating at TTSH (i went there today to visit) because he felt like eating the lao beijing. Unfortunetly for him, the carpark was full so we went to goldhill plaza. Reminds me of morris allen! We went over to the shopping centre to eat macdonalds, i had the grilled chicken foldover, its not bad but it needs sauce! Dad ate the quarter pounder with no cheese, funny guy. We had a free regular fries because our meal came late, we were very happy indeed. After dinner, we went to cold storage to find some durian. Been craving for that since last night. After sort of quarrelling with my parents last night, i have no idea how from an heated argument, we managed to cool things down with the distraction of a guava. YAH! My dad was shouting at me and in anger, he ate some guava ana sliced up and his expression changed. From shouting profanities, he suddenly asked me to try some guava because its very good. Sometimes i see no seriousness in this family LOL.

Ahh liwen is comfirmed entering ACJC now. I feel sorry for her for having such intense pressure at home. What to do with harvard graduated parents and hwa chong straight A brother. Im glad for her though, now its my turn. Groan.
