We are having the usual girls session of not sleeping early and talking about almost everything in life. This time im having it with phyllis who is sitting right next to me, breathing deeply and laughing as i type this. Its been a long time since we got together and we finally did today thanks to Cher. The day was spent swimming/eating/baking and laughing, a typical scenario of a girls-only outing. The girls-only outing did not continue though for at around 10 something, 2 other guys joined us. The day was fun though.

Ow. my leg. I just hit it against the wooden panel of my bed. PHYLLIS, MASSAGE. Ok fine. Anyway, its been so long since ive felt romantic. It started from todays movie called "If only" which stars Jennifer Love Hewitt. Before i delve into details, i was slightly disappointed as the video shop lady insisted that i would cry at the end of the movie because it is, and i quote "very very sad'. I didnt really (or even) cry at the end but i found the movie rather touching. It is about this successful man who loves his lover but does not treasure her enough. She dies in a horrific accident and when fate intervenes, he had a chance to make things right all over again (i mean help her live). In the end, the plot goes on to when he repeats the same day over again but at the end, even though he knew how/when she was going to die, he shielded her with his body. And he died. Eventually. It sounds stupidly corny and i hate being so emotional but sometimes it would be nice to have someone like that. Its time to start treasuring moments, or someone in life (as our dear friend has learnt) and do not take them for granted. I guess its human nature to be too comfortable with the things that we have got that once its gone, we regret it so much. I know. Ive been through that. And im probably still in this mess, after such a long time. BUT.. BUT.. Life goes on.

Why do they call the MoS event milkshake. It just sounds so.. wrong. We are probably going anyway. Renuion with friends ahah!

Its 12.12pm and its relatively early that im home considering flows going to last almost the whole night long. Im really tired i guess and since kel, tiff and matt went off early theres almost no point in staying. Its the company that matters anywhere you go and hence my decision to take off early. I didnt leave immediately with them though. Lijie and I stayed on after they left and he had a kick with the green band they put around the hand to show that you are legal enough to drink alcohol.

Anyway to Kel and Tiff. I would really miss you guys and itll probably be only next year when i see you both. I had fun today in Meidi-ya. We have a new official hang out spot and thats the little centre of the supermarket which had doraemon cartoons playing. Have fun in Aspen. Think of me when you go around shopping for christmas presents. SHIT I WANT LAWRENCES ROOM. Can i have that?

It was great running into a lot of people. Some of whom one hasnt seen for a long time. That includes Brice, Shawna, Roy, Jien Arn, Ivan, some j2s..
Ivan have a great time studying architecture. Follow your passion man!

I got kicked out from a taxi by Brice and Kerri. They insisted that i dont pay for the cab which i still feel bad about. Thanks you both.

Its my dads test results tomorrow and im a little scared. Finally we know whats really wrong with him.

Its such a busy month with outings/schoolwork/friends (same as outings haah)/family/renuion dinners/outings outings outings. Im pretty much exhausting myself out. I guess besides getting my dads checkup results, im going for a little time-off. I cant wait for thurs though. Casino royale whoopee

Today was the day of the FM epee challenge. FM for those who do not know is the place where our cjc fencing team trains at under coach Lopez (or mr coach for me). A hardcore fencer, Mr lopez organises yearly fencing competitions for blades of all types, be it epee, foil or sabre. He managed to persuade us to join his competition and pay the $16 fee to enter. Smart way to earn money.

A total of about 60 guys and 24 girls joined. In overall sense, the competition was a learning point for me. Initially, i expected to get booted out in the first round of the compeition. HAHA i got booted out on the third round. Im pretty satisfied with my performance though because i thought i'd suck. I mean really really suck. In the end in the first bout i won 2 out of 4 games (one against an SMU fencer haha!) and the other sadly against a cjcian. I won 15-11 in the direct elimination which came right after and pretty much lost badly with a score of 15-3 in the third round. It was the scary obaasan that Dylan and I were rooting for.

Everyone did well and tried their best. I must applaud Ferlin and her German 'thing' of a blade who managed to be the nearest scorer to the fencer who got first place. Wong did the most unusual and trashed a national fencer 5-1 but was trashed by the more inexperienced ones. Germaine had the most unfortunate luck of meeting a damn stoned fencer who would refuse to move and wait for you attack, therby easily defending and attacking you. Thats the most irritating fencer you can meet. Especially for my naturally rash nature, dammit, i always run into the blade ahah.

Im sorry if i didnt mention anyone elses names. I didnt mean to forget about you haha just that at the moment my brain is currently just dead.

OHOH. I just have to mention about a squealer. There was this fencer who squealed/screamed every single time she got a point. Im not saying its irritiating or anything but i wish she had toned it down a pitch or two. I almost went deaf, and the presider(referee) had her ipod plugged in while presiding the match to block off the screams. The presider turned out to be a KC girl haha! I was just talking to some people and she came up and asked "excuse me are you from KC?", because i noticed your shorts looked so familiar!". HAHA. United by shorts.
