The day was spent shuffling between fencing competition and the rain concert. I'll explain the items consecutively. The fencing competition was satisfactory. Our group managed to get into the quarter finals (haha) but unfortunately we had to fence CJ team A. I didnt really expect to win against them so there was no sense of grudge when we did eventually lose. Im not trying to promote the "i-give-up" attitude but really, the girls of team A trained hard and they deserve to win. I still cant get over two things, goldfish/bowlcut hair girl and the WENDY cheer. The CJ team did well though, clinching a bronze eventually. We could have gotten a gold but we decided to take easy on the other teams ha-ha. In any case, goldfish/bowlcut hair girl is on my display picture now. I refuse to take it off for a week. She spurs me on my vengeance for this world.
What was satisfactory though, was that all of the CJ teams managed to go through at least to the quarterfinals. What really motivated me was the elaborate cheering and the support everyone gave to each other. We fencers definetly are a close-knit bunch.
I came home just in time to get ready for the Rain concert. Kel, Tiff, John and I ate at the Mushroom pot where kel was literally enthralled by all the mushrooms. Our tibetan ribs didnt come with mushrooms, making feel a little cheated. We laughed so much due to all the lame weather jokes (a pre-Rain concert prep). I think i almost died when John mentioned that Rains fans were called "Clouds". I should have taken a picture of the booth that had the sign "World clouds' which meant fans from around the world. Tiff was wondering why of all names he had to pick "Rain". What if he was called "Tree". I think that would spoil the whole image. Some guy approached us to go for some auditions under a japanese company. John and probably tiff are auditioning, go be famous guys. Kel go join them. I'll just sit home and study.
School tomorrow eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
