My dad is in an absolutely pissed off mood. I guess its because he couldnt find the diarrhoea pills that he bought the other day for my Kahang trip. Hes been making me get enough medication to last me 4 years. I feel like just telling him: "Dad, im only going for 4 days". In any case, hes making it compulsory that i go to Copthrone Kings hotel tomorrow for dinner with the rest of the family. Its supposed to be budget sunday but i guess ill try to change that to the afternoon. Hope they can make it.

I'm almost done with packing for Kahang. Im pretty proud of my 3-line defence front against mosquitoes. As i had mentioned before in a post long ago, its the monsoon seasion (a.k.a mosquitoes are going to take over the world). I packed anti-mosquito repellent lotion, spray and insect bite patches all from hanaplast. Its a little kiasu perhaps but i'd rather be safe than sorry. The ah-mah has got to me.

Today we (me bunz and weiloong) went HV-ing, Starbucking, Sushiing and NYDCing. Look out for another TYS math question, we have yet to settle the payment. Oh god i think i lost my receipt.

The night was spent laughing non-stop. It was RATHER fun.

Oral presentation was just over today and im absolutely, positively glad theres no more PW for the rest of my life. Im sure my fellow group members would be the same. Thanks Jessie for that sweet note, i sure had a great time working with you guys too. CJ014 unite! Ha-ha.

Theres a class get together on the 18th of Nov. The day after Kahang. I dont know if i can make it because of the wedding but ill see. Its going to be at Cephas' place which i heard is mighty grand. I cant wait.

Im dead beat. Im going to sleep.

Ive broken my personal record of sitting for 4 hours in carpark. This time it was 8. Too bad theres no prize for this though except for a sore bum. The funeral was held outside the house and the tables/chairs were laid onto the carpark area. No one could go inside the house except the very immediete family members, i.e my uncles direct sons and grandchildren. Although im very closely related as my dad is his brother, special priority was given to those special few. So last night, i sat outside eating peanuts with Tammy and Maria from 6 to 2 am in the morning. We were the only few who were below 40. There were other young ones of course but we were the ones who stayed till the end. PRESERVERENCE MAN. Actually it wasnt that. Our family is really traditional so the brothers (of the deceased) and their family has to stay until the end of every day.

There was this photographer going around looking like a lion. His hair was huge and it was peroxide blonde in colour. Very striking. He kept on taking pictures and we just treated him like a normal photographer. Nevertheless, we found out he was related to us. There was another photographer who kept taking pictures of my dead uncles body. He took so many pictures, looking irritated as if the picture did not turn out the right way. How right can it get when the body was just lying there for 2 days. What does he expect my uncle to do, give a V for Victory sign and say cheese?
HAHA. Im imagining that in my head now. Imagine the poor guys fright if it really does happen.

I was really surprised when the family invited everyone to Peach Garden for dinner. There was about close to 80 or so of us and the menu included stuff like sharksfin, abalone, soon hock. About 8 to 9 dishes. The food was quite elaborately prepared and it felt more like a birthday dinner than anything else. This was in order to remember my uncle, who was a true gourmet. Yes. He was. He once ate like no tomorrow. Like a vacuum cleaner
